what she does
Through Angelishfit, Alicia works primarily with women who want to build strength, confidence, and physical capability that supports long-term health and independence.
She offers personalized coaching that integrates strength training, movement education, nutrition guidance, and recovery principles grounded in evidence-based practice. Rather than prescribing rigid programs or restrictive plans, Alicia helps clients understand their bodies, train with intention, and build habits that are realistic and sustainable.
Beyond individual coaching, Alicia delivers speaking engagements, self-defense seminars, advocacy work, and movement-based workshops. These offerings reflect her commitment to education, empowerment, and practical skill building both inside and outside traditional fitness spaces.
why she is qualified
Alicia’s credibility is anchored in formal education, professional teaching, and applied practice.
In her 18 year career as a secondary school teacher, she delivered and developed curriculum in nutrition science, dance, kinesiology, physical education, and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu-based self-defense course. Her background in education informs how she coaches, with structure, intention, and respect for how people actually learn.
Her academic foundation, combined with decades of movement practice and continued progression in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu into her 50s, serves as real-time proof of her philosophy. Alicia teaches what she lives, and Angelishfit reflects a body of work grounded in longevity, sustainability and confidence.
